Former Global Head of Application Operations at Heidelberg Cement Joins Transcend Packaging as Director of Information Technology

Chris Farmer has joined Transcend Packaging as its new Director of Information Technology. Chris joins Transcend after a successful career of 15 years at Heidelberg Cement, a DAX 30 company where he was the Global Head of Application Operations.

While at Heidelberg, Chris defined the strategy, execution, and management of Heidelberg’s global applications landscape for 60,000 employees across five continents. He achieved great success driving business growth objectives via digital transformation, innovative solution delivery and operational excellence.

Chris joins Transcend at a truly exciting time in its growth journey. He will be responsible for delivering an innovative technology strategy to facilitate Transcend’s vision of becoming the global leader in sustainable packaging. Chris has a passion for leading business change and embedding technology into manufacturing enterprises.
